I’m an honest and positive education professional whose first priority is always the best  interests of students. Since 2019, I’ve been invested in the equity conversation in education. Today, I continue my investment into the equitable operations of our schools.

As a consultant in the realm of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (for 27 years), I have a long professional relationship with and immense respect for Ray Moland.  Our successful partnering dates back to Joliet at a school called Dirksen Jr. High where we led an initiative to save young boys from expulsion and failure in their education and life. Ray was always a committed and knowledgeable leader.  I have worked with Ray to educate faculty, staff and administration on valuing diversity, establishing equity, and creating inclusion.  We also worked with each student class to do the same work.  Ray's purpose, passion, commitment and genuine intention to support and lead educators on the right pathway to establishing equity in education throughout Chicagoland (and beyond) is a role that only dedication can establish and sustain.  Ray is remarkable in how he lives and realizes the needs, challenges, struggles, successes, and experiences of educators, and absolutely aligns himself with the perspective, needs, struggles, challenges, energy and experiences of students.  I see his desire and goals as someone who is building bridges at a time when so many people are building walls.
